Look Santo, seriously. If you are going to have this car for a while then you will want thermo's, clutch fan sounds like crap and does drain more power from then engine; albiet stuff all.

BMM, I wouldn't mind doing but honestly cbf.

There is no rush. Just take it one thing at a time and you will be sweet. And I am serious, put an 8 in that car and Ill burn it

Yes mate get rid of the clutch fan altogether.
BPT sell a wiring loom with the temp switches , its a well presented kit.
I suggest you look on their website
I run a thermofan conversion kit & would highly recommend it.

my guess is, its a special car, putting a V8 in it would go against that :P

Santo, One quick Sugestion. If your going to run thermos, make sure you have a good alternator

I'm with you on the thermo issue Santo. For all the cost involved, the only improvement is in the noise dept. and even that is only minimal. What you gain in power is lost through extra strain on the alternator.

I built a bridge and sold my thermos to Dan.

Clutch fans are what make EAs sick!

one way to fix thermo problems with good alternator, dont run them directly to battery like most ppl u can get relays that slowlt come on like mine rather then come on staright away and drain batt, i had thermos in mi ea for 10 years on original alternator, no problems

i'm really not liking the idea of thermo's.. there is too much strain on battery as it is...

i think the max current draw of my 2 amplifiers is something like 80amps an hour or something..

then you need a bigger or second battery...

then there is the initial cost and effort required.. im starting to dislike this more and more by the second.. only bad thing i hate about clutch fan was at AFD going onto the oval it was like a big vacuum under the bonnet..

The BPT wiring kit is priced ridiculously. It's a very nice looking and complete package, but if you wanna be paying at least (think double) the price of secondhand thermos then DIY!

just found out dad said that he has twin thermo's sittin in the garage.. he wont let me put them on though.. says id be stupid to do so. He reckons clutch kills them any day..

interestin bit of trivia: thermo's were originally introduced to assist the clutch fan, not replace it...

clutch fan it is for me!

im more interested in this bbm mod.. whats involved?
