I think at the moment the EB will be returned to stock and sold to someone who is keen on the ghia interior, XR6 diff etc. It needs new rings but might be alright without boost. Then I still have the new bottom end in the garage and the C4 and quicksilver shifter to be sold as well. And the EF XR6 head too. Heaps of bits that I have no use for :(

Hey Dan, juding by what you got the AU for, your EB would be worth about $5. When can I come and pick it up? ;)

Yeah most of it will go back towards the loan, the rest will go to insurance, getting it engineered etc. Ahh the pleasures of buying a car that needs nothing spent on it Even after I pay all my interest this car is still cheaper than some of the AU XR6's around!! :eclipsee_

Yeah well done, congrats, blah, blah, etc, etc :yeees:
Annnnyway, went for a ride in this thing last nite after Dan picked it up....man it's just plain scary! I want it :sm_drool: It drives like a normal falcon with an exhaust until you put your foot into it then it just roars to life and the back end flys sideways.... And the best part is that all the heating and aircon works too!! Unlike my e-series. |

Congrats Dan, what an awesome purchase. A smart philosophy to buy a pre-modified car too, one I should have thought of years ago. Even smarter, you didn't get a VL.
Well done mate, look forward to seeing the beast at a cruise. |
