Mine lasted a year then would not hold charge. Not happy for a $350. I bought it via a CAA bulk buy.

these, in my opinion are the best batteries in the market. 2 year warranty, fully sealed calcium battery. these and delkor batteries are the only ones we stock at work and for good reasons. i have one in my car, and also one in my brothers. and are 600cca for a ford type battery.

supercharge is teh g4yl0rdz0r! bond = bigger cca and rc. my boss stopped stocking the supercharge ones because they are craplord and die all the time and not to mention they seem to go a bit dry a bit quicker then most batteries.

I run a marine battery in the diesel Landcruiser, I tried Optima (sealed) battery, it lasted one year and a day, just out of warranty, and it dropped dead with no warning. Only the marine comes anywhere near the performance of the original Japanese Yuasa battery. (New in 1984. now with 494000Km's.)
The battery in the Fairlane runs so hot I can't imagine a sealed battery lasting very long. The wet-cell ordinary batteries only last 2 or 3 years. I have been thinking of moving the battery to the boot, anyone done this? Regards, Ray.

I can't believe choosing a battery for standard/near standard cars actually required a thread and then a poll.

i just replaced my battery but it was with a 460 cca exide or whatever the brand is as i dont really think spending 300 on a battery is really needed when my sound system is pretty little and i never use it when the car is off anyway.

marshall will charge $149 for a falcon to come out and fit 460cca standard sorta battery 2 year roadside warrenty. Marshall batteries are Exide. they also have a 550cca battery that will slot right in.
as for "supercharge" batteries i change so many of them for the fleet companies that are only a touch over 2 years old. Sealed batteries wont necesserilly last longer than the regular type either
