Yeah at certain angles it's terrible. All the better for us ford fans though.

Just saw a black VF SS on ferntree gully rd, what stood out was all the red strips on the sides and bonnet, very average looking, if this is the car thats going to save the commordore then good luck with that.

Interesting that the 'spy pics' are credited on that website to a 'social media strategist'. If that isnt a giveaway that these pics have been deliberately leaked, and the fact that they have been parked side by side in a nice carpark somewhere, then I don't know what is. This sort of thread is exactly what HSV want.

will wait for official release before passing judgement.
Though if they keep the clean lines similar to the "spy" pics then I'll be impressed. hopefully an end to the plastic junk from the E2 and E3 HSVs.

I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. The two photos show:

Noticably different shaped headlights, grills, foglights (and surrounds), as well as different bonnets, wheels and front guards.

About the only thing I can see that looks similar is the mirrors. Oh wait, Fords have windscreens - how dare holden steal their idea

I wonder if Ford has the budget to implement phasing on all 4 cams on the FPV's (like Coyote), rather than just 2. More to the point, why not make the BOSS/ Shelby crate motors a non-factory option, and circumvent the testing $$ like Walkinshaw?

I think you would have to get a third party involved so Ford could wash their hands of the install, and then you're still looking at significantly more work to have a crate engine installed over what Walkinshaw are doing with their blowers.

I think there will be a lot of holden people with a new favourite letter . . . R . . .copying Ford perhaps?

Posts have released some of the info relating to SV upgrades as part of the model separation and power output.

Apparently top gear mag Australia has published power figures for f series. I'm gonna just repost what I read, may or may not be true

Top Gear Australia May edition and they have stated the power figures for the F Series range.

Clubsport 317kw 550nm
Maloo 317kw 550nm
Clubsport R8 325kw 550nm
Clubsport R8 SV Enhanced 340kw 570nm
GTS 430KW 740nm - the same engine as the camaro ZL1 (Supercharged 6.2L)"

I'm sorry, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but in what universe is this good looking?

WTF is with the front guard?

The rear end of the ute is completely incongruent with the front end. It's ******* stupid.

Well, I bought a new FGII and most reckon that's pretty ugly.

The whingers here should support Aus industry a bit more here instead of throwing stones in their own house and then whinging about the broken glass...

I hope you you supported Australian manufacturing lately.
well technically we all have. our tax dollars goes towards development of these cars.

I actually don't mind the look of the VF (looks better then the VE) I don't like the VF ute for no trayback option but everyone has their opinion.

The VF looks bland and the lack of updates to ute and wagon will cement the whole range with a 2006 vibe.

My sentiments exactly. I accept that this is a Ford forum and there will always be some negativity towards Holden, but certain members seem to take it to the extreme, to the point where it becomes immature, idiotic nonsense.
Those who continually rubbish Holden are cutting off their nose to spite their face, because if Holden disappear then Ford will go with it, and all we'll have left to choose from in the new car market is a range of imported fwd econoboxes. Is that what we really want? Because if we don't get up and throw our support behind Aussie cars, then that is the bleak future we are facing.
