I have a friend who has his 50th birthday next month and he would be over the moon with one of those as a present. |

I've seen this happen before, numerous dreamers say "I'll take 1 for sure", and when the time comes to hand over the cash, 90% of them back out.
I don't think RNXR will be busy. Nice looking table though mate, however I don't want one.

Of course for many people it will come down to how much they are. For example if they are like 5 grand then yes, I don't think he will be very busy.

Thanks for the PM mate. I'm torn. I love the look of the table in your first post, but I'm having difficulty visualising the Super Roo decal on the shelf/how it would sit.
I'm leaning towards the stripe...

I'll stick to the stripes, Might do a one off Superoo later on. cheers everyone.
Rough estimate on price is going to be around $1000. The materials used are not the cheapest and already I have spent 22 hours on all 4 with more to go. Not sure on posting as these things weigh 40kg! |

You will not make any profit if your counting the hours spent compared to earning it at your regular everyday job... I've been making custom... or "bespoke if your name is Kevin McCloud" furniture for about 10yrs never been any money in it I do it more for the act of woodworking, the only way to make money is by mass production, but then the overheads rise considerably because you need to make jigs so you can do batch runs on parts I specialised in making bars some of them I have stopped counting the hours at 350 and they whinged that its cost them $3000... $1700 is in materials alone(thats using rough sawn pine straight off the mill, its the cheapest but involves much more work and time) admittedly they are a little bit more than your average mini orb tin home bar

I'll put them on ebay and leave it up to the bids. If they sell for a good price then I'll make more, if not then I'll hang onto them
