Well by the time I get one I will be a little older than I am now, and I am picturing myself looking like Toad off Wind in the Willows..LOL

Ill have my driving gloves and hat, hell even googles if its necessary; anything to be in one of those.

But you make a good point, not a bad idea to even ask a current owner for a short trip to see what they really are like.

I haven't driven many other roadsters but considering these things were designed in the 50's they're not that bad. The road and engine noise for me just adds to the experience. But yeah not the sort of thing you'd want for a daily driver.

edit - Anyone notice how long it took the Commy to hit the gas?

edit +1 - for his sake I hope the throttle stuck!
You can see the times in the 3rd pic or so - the commo did about a .8sec reaction, and a pretty good 1.85 60ft. Would have liked to know its ET and MPH!

You can see a little bit of countersteer in the vid, but nowhere near enough, and the guy should have backed off as soon as it got out of shape :s I feel very sorry for him :(

Probably the worst part would be waking up the next day, and for that split second feeling pretty good and not remembering what happened, then FKEN BANG! like a knee in the scrotum, the memory comes flooding back :(
