There must be a shipment of demos coming in soon. Or you'd think there would be.
If it's Feb before they are delivered, I'll won't be getting one.
The Territory diesel is rumoured to be late Q1 early Q2, so they might be getting close with the launches.

Ford really have no idea. Time for me to ramp up the research for a new car, I think.

Dusty1: I thought way back when the MB's were first released, you were disappointed cause you wanted a diesel Mondeo Wagon and it wasn't offered. But since then you can now get a current model MB MY11 diesel wagon...LX, Zetec or Titanium? I see there are some on Car Sales still around.

I understand your point about Ford not getting their act together, but diesel wagons versions have been on sale since mid 2010 haven't they? Why are you now so hellbent on getting a MC?

Rico my lease is up on Jan 4.
I have a child with another on the way. So I want the extra room I would also prefer the newer model due to some extra features it offers over the MB.
To me they are good enough reasons.

I stand to be corrected but I think we here are also getting the new 2.2L 150Kw 450Kw TwinTurbo Diesels. Update model released yesterday in Europe/UK

Fair enough, I have two kids and the room is excellent. Plus I didn't want to go down the SUV/7 seater route like so many families.

When I look at the MC it looks great, but you just have to buy the model how it is at the time you need it. Otherwise by the time Ford get the supply for the MCs going, they will probably anounce a total revap of the Mondeo in Europe and you will be put off and hanging out for that next!

RicOz, I am now starting to look at alternatives. And even looking at the SUV option so I can haul my parents around as my dad doesn't want to drive much any more.
Apstar, that C5 looks good. The light coloured leather would be tricky with kids. There's a 2010 on Carsales for $52K drive away. Will have to get to a dealer, pity there's only a few around.

The steering wheel has more buttons on it than the stereo.

The facelift Mondeo is being released in NZ in January. I'm sure Ford NZ will actually have cars to sell when they announce the new model, so this may be a pointer to when you might be able to buy the MC in Oz.

Has anyone actually seen a MC?

lol you would have thought that Ford could have had one for the Sydney Motor Show no that's too hard they instead had virtual games for people to play with and a magician pulling rabbits out of a hat

I thought the black Titanum Wagon on display was an MC, certainly had daytime lights and restyled front end, so not an MB. Priced at $53k though.

And it had an ZF 6HP Auto not a PowerShift so it may have been an European MC your guess is as good as mine not even the Ford people knew what it was the best part was what the engine was a SECRET when I asked to have a peek

Secret is that it's probably the same as what we've got now.

Tailgate on the Mondeo wouldn't open yesterday, so had a wander around the dealership while they fixed it. And there was a new Fiesta LX with a 1.6 engine and a Powershift gearbox. And 3% finance - must be about time to get a new car for the wife...

Salesperson said there is a 1.6 diesel version coming rated at 3.7 l/100 km.
