If you want photos of your car, just ask! It's pretty hard to miss me, I'm the guy with the big camera, and when it's dark, a big tripod too... The same goes for anyone, if we're at a meet or a cruise or whatever, let me know if you want some photos of your car and we'll put it aside and get some shots, and the same goes for cruises, we'll get the cars side by side for some driving shots...

It's almost impossible to get good photos of all 50 cars!

It was a great cruise. I had a good time. I was also in the group that got lost and missed two meeting points, but it was all good. I didn't go to the last meet point because Bunnings Moorabin is pretty close to home. LOL at the E-series Bogans! My car was getting a bit warm as well. At Moorabin, I think we could tell which cars don't have thermos. The ones with the bonnets up! Anyway, I met heaps more people and can now put a face to a lot of these names... plus I now have e-series stickers!

i dont have thermo's and thing didnt go over half... in theory clutch fans should keep the car cooler than thermos... cousin's WB worked 8 had to go back from thermos to clutch to keep it cool....

I agree. I also read a Street Machine article about some guy with a multiple burnout comp winning car that swapped to thermo's then back to clutch for the same reason. Reckon's thermo's didn't cut it.

its really completely because of their design.
clutch fan is constantly spinning, and really a high volume fan.
thermos are designed to get to a temp then maintain that, clutch fan doesn't really have this effect.
I beleive Karl actually told me the thermos were actually a cooling disadvatage on the highway. I guess it completely depends on the car and what you do.

clutch fan at high rpm is going to cool things down good, so it depends how u drive.
I've never had cooling problems on my car, as soon as the second thermo kicks in at high speed, the temp drops prety rapidly.

Sorry mate, I take these photos to try and make a quid off them, if I handed them out to everyone in full res so you could print it or do whatever, I'd be a very poor photographer. So no sorry I don't hand them out in full res...

I spend a hell of a lot of time on the photos I take, this batch not including actually shooting them took me at least 8 hours to prepare...

I sell them as prints. Adam has purchased a print off me, he can attest to the quality of the prints.

8x10" - $30 or $50 in metallic paper
10x15" - $40 or $60 metallic
16x20" - $60 or $80 metallic
20x32" - $80 or $110 metallic

I know I didn't get any photos of your car and for that I apologise, but time is very limited and it's difficult to get any decent shots of that many cars in the time we had. But as I said before, if you want some shots of your car we can move it aside and get some.

As for photography meets, I'm always up for that, but again I can only do anything substantial if there aren't many cars. But yeah I will organise another one some time soon.

Great photos, Alex. Your photography is always top class.

And I think I should clear up what I said before about overheating. The thing is that my temperature gauge was in the normal. The car just smelt very warm. When I opened the bonnet, it did seem to be putting out a lot of heat. I've been getting this a fair bit recently, while I haven't had a problem in previous years. I guess it's another problem surfacing in my car (I'm having a bit of a rough patch with it)
