JET XR actually uses the EL cluster.

Whoops... I took a closer look and realised the tacho had a "this-is-not-a-BA-dash" redline! So I spose he's either painted it, or has attached a painted (or brushed aluminium) "stencil" that surrounds the gauges and warning lights. Pretty good effort!

And Jason, long live the digital dashes! :

Maybe a Bulge<tm> for the EA??? it:

does anyone who has done mods to their headlights to make the BA's fit in them have pics of the inside section(i.e. inside the bonnet) to show how you put them in etc?

yes, the BA shifter was "part 1" and is fully functional. the lights were "part 2".

I might have to turn Project Ghia5L into Project Copy Dellboy...

Although I have my own ideas for integrating the BA shifter with the interior ;)

Jason, you and Murray are set to make a killing with these mods! :dr_Evil:

Man that looks friggen awesome.

How on earth you actually thought that idea up and managed to do it and make it look that kick-*** is just absolutely beyond me.

Awesome job. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Inside the bonnet is all original, I have 100% used the orginal EA Headlight housing/lens etc, and just have BA reflectors and inserts in the midlle.

To do the headlights took me about a day all up.

The BA shifter takes about a day to do (alot of planning though) and yes the triptronic part works 100%.

Im guessing this would be impossible to do on au lights! though i doubt it would look as good. Though anything looks better then those after market ones they have out at the moment!!!

I think for the size of the AU headlight, direct headlight swap with a teritory (same as BA but full height lens) might be the go and a custom cover for the difference.

AU headlights are just plain weird

The BA reflector and insert have to be trimmed down in size to fit, mainly the larger reflector, the rest of the fitting is not all that difficult with a little imagination and thinking.

Well the money side has been very little invested, but the time side of things has been quite a bit of effort , but well worth it.

how much did you pay for the lights, and were they new or did you have extreme luck in getting them at wreckers?

Lights were not new, they were actually write off's as the lenses were stuffed, I was originally going to fit full BA headlights but just not possible, so only needed the insides of them in the end.

They cost me nothing because of the above.
Ferntree Gully wreckers qouted me $150 a headlight (but they would be in good nick)

The kit is SSV front bar, that I have modified, the side skirts are as is, and the rear bad has also been modified from a 3/4 add on, to be glassed together as a full rear bar.

The driving lights are actually full 100w Hella oblong lights just mounted on brackets behind the front bar.
