What about the flat brimmed hat wearing ricer himself and their ****wit mentality of been materialistic sheep who have to do what everyone does/buys - which pretty much includes all accessories above.

An example, a few mates and I go to the local street drags one night to watch em race down the motorway hoping to see one of the several dozen WRXs and Evos **** itself infront of everyone after a hard launch.
As we drove in I heard 'I wish I had that car' looking at me bread and butter Falcon. What a ****er. Yeah, and I wish I was 15 grand in debt and had a WRX on chromes, just like everyone else, all to get some 'respect' from other narrow minded ****wit ricers who live from pay check to pay check :MrT_anim:

-Cars with DVD players and playstations. What, is your car so freaking boring that you've got to add an entertainment system?

-Flames, I hate them and they're only mildly acceptable on rods.

that was actually a problem with early tint...especially the do-it-yourself stuff...
looked alright for a couple of years then started to loose some of the pigment - turning purple.....
the tint on my fairlane is slowly starting to turn..:S
must get that redone soon

Jeez people whats wrong with a monster tach in the right car . I agree they are a pretty poxy thing to put in a stock auto car particularly if they are mounted on the dash pad for all the world to see. But a tacho was third on my list of have to get gagues after oil pressure and water temp. The reason for this is that the tacho in my xb is 30 years old and probably does not read very accurately and it only goes to 7000 rpm . I have mounted it in the dash where gagues are suppost to go not on the dash pad . My car is also an auto but I never just leave it in d and drive around, my car is also putting out something around the 500 fwhp mark and red lines at 7200 rpm (no dyno figures but with the combo I have it would be around that ) so I kind of saw the need to have a tacho that was at least reasonably accurate and easy to read at a quick glance. So to say only ricer morons put monster tachs in their cars is a bit narrow minded.
My pet hates are blow of valves that make funny noises and big wings on stock looking cars.

Totally agree! I had a 7" in-dash fold away (Pioneer), was awesome. Going up country to get drunk....mates drinking & watching AC/DC DVD's....if there's something wrong with that, I'm in the wrong forums.

I think he means in the back of every seat, on the roof, on the trunk?!? etc I don't like that kind of stuff, especially the trunk, WTFs up with that? Lets go park up at New World and watch Drift videos on my trunk........seems these days is less about driving and more about what your car has accessory wise. Not like the muscle car days where is was the less options the better and the bigger engine = the man.

oh I seen a great example the other week a 95 magna white with huge cannon huge tacho, huge wing huge ride hight(stock), D RIFT sticker on front window and standerd hup caps painted white...

And another is a orange VS going around my way(non factory colour) with a bodykit on, and lowered and stuff and is still driving around with hup caps? at least remove the hup caps...

Tachos are good fun.....if ever at night follow a real shlt box around with a 5" tach on the dash (won't be hard to find a car like this) watch them cruise around the streets....they tach light will flash when he gives it some juice......watch how slow it is and how his tach lights up every time.

: Tachos show others when you're going hard.......in most cases (8 out of 10) doing 0-100kph in 15 seconds with their shift light letting the whole world know they were actually gunning it.

Forgot another of mine - Altezza lights - WTF!?!?!?!? The ugliest cheapest looking things ever IMO.....nothing says PLASTIC like Altezza style lights.

And again I ask whats wrong with a monster tacho on the right car. I agree there is a lot of cars that should not have them but to dismiss them outright is just silly. I have one in my xb that knocks out 500fwhp and one of my mates has one in an xy that puts out 1000 fwhp and does 9.4 on the quarter(both are mounted IN the dash) and I can assure you these cars are not rice or s.h.i.t boxes. My mates car is even road regoed with a 6/71 on it . So to say that monster tachos are outright a ricer and useless mod is just silly. Oh and we both have shift lights and that seems to be deemed another useless mod , but every race car I have ever seen has one , even auto drag cars.

mate......nothing is wrong with a monster tacho on a car where they serve their purpose..... they're just so widely used by cars that dont need them that they've kinda become a "fassion accessory" if you will....

if your engine needs ancilary guages, then they have their merit

Yes I know but there just seemed to be a lot of people that are saying that they are the worst thing on ANY car. I agree they are a a joke when fitted to a stock auto 4 , 6 or 8 for that matter. And if they are mounted on the dash pad then even more so because they are only there for the w.a.n.k factor. I just cant believe that they are beating spinner hub caps and milo tin exausts as the worst mod. I cant believe that over sized wings wasn't an option I mean isn't that the worst mod ever.
