Just to clear up, my brother didn't do anything wrong when he was pulled over. It was a random check which ended in defect tragedy. Could have happened to any of the cars on the cruise.

Looked like another great night, it was too close to the noble park incident for my liking, travelling to Melbourne from Geelong just to get your car canaried because the handbrake clicks one two many times, wasn't worth the risk!
It wouldn't be an e-series cruise without a little drama or getting lost!

The best getting lost effort would have to go to Damo for somehow ending up on the Eastern Fwy when we were meeting in Chelsea Heights : They made it in the end.

I made the trip from Geelong, was a really good night, like everyone keeps saying you behave and you've got nothing to worry about, or if you've got mods that the cops don't like just hide between the others...
Were there many other Geelong guys at the cruise?? I reckon i didn't see too many

Was a good cruise. Thanks to all who organised it. Being my first cruise with the e-series guys, i now know what to expect.
But honestly, some people on here, need to have a think. If you drive like a ********, you're gonna get done for it somewhere down the track. But with 40 or so cars cruising around, and some attention (most friendly) from the cops you'd have to be an absolute dumb **** to act up on a cruise.
Of course we all give it a squirt, but there was stupid stuff that only draws attention to the group that some people did, (that i noticed anyway).
The guys with cars that the boys in blue may not like a lot, of course there's going to be a little more risk driving in a massive group, but you could get canaried driving down the street in your own suburb. Most cops don't care about the group, and had a friendly chat, it was really only the DFO meet point that they were a little more 'concerned' about what everyone was doing.

Anyway, still a good cruise, hopefully i'll be able to come on some future ones.

I agree, it brings the name of the club down as all cars acting like this have club signage. The last thing we need is to be know by the cops in a bad way.

Is the guy you're talking about drive the 5l Fairmont Ghia?
Cause if that was him, he followed ARm and myself and Yagz i think it is, down the bloody Frankston! Then back up to the meet point. I just followed, and after about 20mins i thought we may have been slightly off course.

On the way to chelsea heights (sp) i got lost big time, mainly because i had to stop and let my mate goto the toilet, in which he dropped the map......

In the end we found the pack in just enough time to cruise to DFO

The map was very easy to read, which was good :-)

Kenaz, i think it was another guy, the one with the FR's.
But anyway, we're talking about different guys, so it doesn't really matter anyway.

yeah I had a map, but decided to follow Dave (SLOWEL) and some other guys that turned onto the monash. I think they must have been heading home, then I somehow ended up in the city. :
