1977 HJ 45 Landcruiser trayback, complete with the mind blowing performance (sic) of the 3.6 litre inline 6 diesel and 4 speed gearbox. Still have it sitting in the shed, though it's too rusty to save now. Damn 7.50-16 cheesecutter tyres rocked.

Purchased my first car around 6 weeks ago, a 1979 XC Falcon 500 Sports, currently in the garage being restored to her former glory! And i'm totally in love with her, stuff girlfriends at 18, working on your car is more fun the majority of the time!

1981 Cortina Wagon in Red. It was awesome. Could sleep in it and went well to with the 6. BUT! It used way too much fuel and a Big W wage could not take it :(

XE S-PAC with the fuel injected 250. I loved that car to death. I got it when i was about 5 years ago when i was 12. Parents gave it to me as a bus car. But being young it got thrashed and i blew it up. Id do anything to have it back

84 Isuzu TE Gemini, was white with 15 Inch advanti wheels on it. Red drum brakes, poo brown interior. Lasted me just over 9 Months. Good car, just didnt have a radio, and had absolute zero grip in the wet. Good fun on dirt roads but.

1986 KC TX3 laser. 1.6 SOHC EFi. Went alright, modded it a bit with nothing too drastic ... a fun little first car.

'72 XA coupe, 302 auto, dropped on it's guts with 265s on the rear. Looked awsome, sounded awsome, ran crap, cabin leaked like a seive and boot floor was so rusted out I'm amazed the fuel tank never fell out onto the road.

My first toy was an 81 RA40 Celica. I have had it now for 17 years. 4 motors, 4 gearboxes and 2 diff's and I still have it and love it for a small non-Ford car.
It's un-Reg at the moment now tho.. We had a baby and ended up with a Nissan Patrol now for the family car upgrade.

1983 R30 Skyline..the most hilariously crap car of all time..it was made entirely of rust. It lasted about 6 months before i sold it for 550 bucks and got my first ford, a gold EA series 2 s pack..i know its not the most desirable ford out there but hey its a start..

My first car was an '88 VL Commo Wagon, a red one. Had an issue where it wouldn't start if it was on a hill with the front passenger side on the lower angle and I went through 4 autos, 3 diffs and a head along with a huge amount of other "little" things, like the time when the tail section of the exhaust fell clean off when I went over a bump. The time the indicator stalk broke twice in a night was interesting too, first time my highbeams were stuck on (it was night) and the second (an hour later, I was a fair way from home) the damn thing snapped clean off so I had no indicators. Got rid of that after 12 months, it had 350k on it by that time.

Funniest bit is I replaced it with the EL i used to have but I got screwed by the dealer, they wouldn't fix a heap of little things like stone chips. On the way to swap cars the old VL decided it didn't like it's auto and spat it, went and picked up the EL and used it to tow the VL to the yard. You should have seen the dealers face
