The laws sound similar to the ones here in SA. Several cars have been crushed and hundreds have been impounded. Now in SA they are telling us if you speed you are contributing to the road toll even if you dont have an accident. Where will it end!!!!

its only going to get worse as the population get older - old people vote and politicians appeal to them with stupid laws like this.
the politicians (not police) will come down hard on scary hoons or skate boarders or people with Tats or young people that dont move to the left on a foot path or that have ear phones on. i tell ya it will get worse as the australian avg age increases. |

today an elderly woman doing 15km/h driving down the road. Me behind her beeping the horn about 50 times because it was a 60 zone. We both went our different ways at the intersection.
if your sight and brain CPU spec has gotten to a point where 15km/h is the max safe speed to drive a vehicle, then surely this type of person has got to be just as dangerous as a 17yo aspiring to be Colin Mcrae ? Apia dont think so, they give them them discounted insurance |

Trying to blame any one social group on our situation is fraught with problems and won't help the situation. There are fools and idiots in every corner of our society just as there are educated intelligent people who may help if approached in the right way.
