Default Falcon Runout- Does Ford need to push it harder?

Well ive been checking out some of the deals lately and its got me thinking three things pretty much.

Well first ****, theyre are some good deals on at the moment i dont think ive ever seen deals for Falcon this good since maybe the EL Sapphire days. Local dealer here has Falcon XT's for 29 grand driveaway, they had until recently 05 models for like 26 grand, plus i checkout the Ford ES pack which you can get for about 33 grand these days and its essentially a poor mans XR6/Fairmont, very classy.

Secondally can this kind of runout be sustained, whacking on extra gear or selling cheap can only last for so long, Does this mean will be seeing Orion sooner rather than later, or is Ford just propping up private sales on the side, because they know fleet contracts will fill the gap.

And finally with Ford doing these pretty snazzy deals why arent i seeing more advertising, sure ive seen the Xr6 in a box add about three times- big whoop, compared to Holden flogging their Commodore SVZ and Thunder utes its a joke and if Ford is going to continue offering deals such as these they better market themselves a bit better if they do want to clear some stock.

These arent Runout prices as yet, they are basically trying to keep thigns flowing, wait till this time next year, there will be some CHEAP BFII sedans and utes around, at around 10 grand off retail...

ford & advertising don't fit in the same sentence, i reckon i hear an add for holden every 2nd add break on the radio during the day & they have plenty on tv, i cant tell when i last remember hearing a ford add on the radio.
maybe i just remember the holden adds because they flog them so much
point is if ford want to move up in the sales race they need to put more effort into advertising
