Mate l was expecting to get a whole heap of focus fans telling me that the 7.3 mounting depth speakers l've just bought will not fit,so does that mean they will.

I can't think of anyone thats upgraded their door speakers in their LS. There are only 8 or so non-stock LSs on this site.

If you take a look under the door trim you'll find the standard speaker rivetted in on top of its spacer. This isn't a major issue when replacing the speaker but no ones gonna hack into their door trim unless their looking to replacing the speaker very shortly.

Sorry to dissappoint your expectations but this is a forum community, give what you take. Going by your other posts you seem half technically minded; perhaps you can find out if 7.3 (feet, metres, yards, arm lengths????) mounting depth fits with or without modifications and contribute some knowledge back to the site. I mean its something you should have checked before buying those speakers.

Chris
