I'm guessing you'd need the car to be road-worthy and a valid driver's license.

Ive done stage 1 and 2, going to do stage 3 soon
Great days, good learning experience. You need a car Correct tyre pressure I think its 60 or 70% tyre tread i think When you fill out the form they send you a checklist about what you need on the day. You wont hit anything mate, its a good open space and the instructors are good people. Just don't be stupid. check out my vid on you tube, also Aeron has dont all 3 stages multiple times and hes got heaps of vids on youtube, just search ian luff or something along those lines.

As above - a roadworthy car and a license.
No walls to hit - it's all done on the skidpan. Really great day which will no doubt make you want to do Stage 2. The instructors when I did it (a couple of years ago) were awesome. |

i did the john bowe one at calder. stage 1 is very basic, but still fun. emergency braking was the main focus. lots of theory sessions though. the slalom at the end of mine was real good

hmmm, so i'd need new tyres before i get out there, i was hoping i could kill my current tyres. some are a bit scrubbed. the tread depth varies from 4mm to 1mm in some spots.

Its a great day and I truely believe that EVERYONE should complete this course. At least you will know how to control your car in an emergancy braking situation in the future.
