hey mate, Highly Doubtful as Crapa is exactly that. Crapa. You are 100% better off importing the Dreamscience Tune Device and using that. Why waste money on a company that has never or only done a few tunes compared to a company that tunes the XR5T for a living.

Do they have a unit to suit the XR5 yet? Any details?

I've found it very good.

You do get a little more variation in performance depending on weather conditions I think.

It is basically SCT hardware and software (SCT partly own Dreamscience), except the parameters are set by the tuner on the dyno, rather than a standard "stock" tune as delivered off the shelf

dreamscience is basically a SCT agent just like what Capa is

I think you'll find SCT and CAPA were both joint venture partners in setting up Dreamscience

If your just getting a preprogrammed unit then Dreamscience or CAPA, it doesn't matter so much. But if you run into probs with the purchase at least you'll be covered by Aust Fair Trading instead of trying to get money from halfway across the world...

If you want to get the XR tuned on the dyno then CAPA is really the way forward. Each car is slightly different due to manufacturing differences, Custom tune will extract the most performance avaliable whereas the preprogrammed unit will not give as high results. Also the custom tuning makes the most of mods done ie bigger injectors, exhaust etc.

the DS unit is probably the best choice on the market atm, even though capa are ment to be a dealer i don't know of them actually selling any.
bullet racing near geelong are a dealer & they had some but the majority of people that have bought DS have done so directly from the UK.

bluefin & code red now have an upgrade for their units that give similar figures to the DS unit but i don't know if they drive alike

From memory, Performance Ford UK, or Fast Fords UK, recently did a back to back comparison of DS, Bluefin, and Code Red
