hang on....i remember this.
this was a fair while ago - it didnt just happen.
im also pretty sure it happened before the dates in the photos as well.
there was a story behind it which i cant really remember.
i think this thing was part of a wedding or something like that?

Funny that he decided to put wedding ribbons on it for the run home hey?

You may also note one has GT badge on the grille, the other not.

Don't believe everything you see on the net.

Maybe he hit the parked car so hard the tread on the tyres moved ( remember just like the old man used to say growing up "I'll kick your butt till your nose bleeds..!!!), just like the original spoiler flew off at terminal velocity...(approx 125 MPH)

as always everyone just happens to get married/drive for a mates wedding on the day they pick their car up I cant tell you how many times this has happened to me its just amazing but I can say I have owned as many cars as I have been to weddings...lol

So much for the internet and e-mail being fast....lol... Isnt there a postcard of this one...???

and also (i could be mistaken on this one) on the third pic it looks like there is a gauge near the drivers side wiper blade on the outside of the car.
(i could be something from the engine bay as well???)

Same here. Saw it 3 months ago. Back then it said the driver lost control after laying a patch and hit a parked car. Good spot davway and Falcon Phill.

Same car or not (Which it is doesn't appear to be the same), genuine or replica its still a damn shame to see the second one like that, as it looked like it was in fantastic condition.

since nobody else has bothered to say it.................

it'll buff out!

by the way thats a heavy hit to cause that much damage. a mate of mine put his through a brick wall at 70km/h and didnt suffer as much damage. its a shame what has happened to it, replica or not, but i just hope we dont see anymore classic fords get destroyed the same way.

old news. still sucks to see it, and how could you possibly spend 95K restoring it assuming it started out life as a genuine GT?! It doesn't look that special to me?
