Boosted OzEcruisers section - good idea though

But using search and typing in "turbo" and searching the "ozecruisers" section comes up with 100's of threads about turbo-ing your OzEcruiser

3 sections? Oh i get ya.. General, Rides, and Tech..

Personally i don't think its that great of an idea..

We already have enough problems between certain members and affiliates of other clubs/forums (eg *************) without adding another section to potentially confuse people.. LOL..

Perhaps a fresh thread in the tech section.. Or use the old turbo sticky i remember seeing somewhere.. Or use the 'power adders section' in the main ford forum..

As Sorted has said there are literally 100's of thread on this and a new section would not help at all IMO it would just have new people asking the same old questions which have been thoroughly answered in the past..

Cheers,
Nik

There is already THIS THREAD about this matter in the technical section, in the sticky about the 'Ulitmate How To Thread'.

I am hoping to start on a minor rearrangement of this area of the forums but adding just a section for a boosting isnt something that we really need IMHO.

Good point, this place needs a lot more traffic

I personally don't see the need for an extra subforum for blown cars, all it will do is serve for people to talk about the turbo they just bought but will never fit to their car, and help spread mis-information amongst the population.

I've never understood the purpose of some of your posts Aaron used:

And yeah I don't see the need for another sub forum either, just use the technical sub forum.

I think we are all getting a little touchy here.

A boosted vehicle can be a variety of things as can be found in the power adder section.

Well i think thats a bit harsh i'm boosting mine and my turbo WILL end up on my car, i think its not a bad idea to have a sections.

As for you roosta, arent you thinkin of ditching the ED for that celica thing anyway????

Hmm i dont think there should be a sub section just for turbod and supercharged topics if you want that then your in the wrong club thats more of a thing for that ************* forum, I think it will just get filled up with threads like check out my electric supercharger its awesome and stuff.

I also agree with Aaron EF8 i think it would just be a fizzle.

Not saying they shouldnt be a part of the club just saying that there is more volume of boosted cars else where.

Hmm boosted guys didnt leave i believe they were banned for joining the other forum and joing the rest of the original E series owners club memebers.

Not sure what your getting at there Sorted, 1FLYRYD said no wonder everyone left as it seems people want to seperate the boosted guys from the n/a?

Judging by some of the posts, the word boosted is pretty touchy.

There are many sections I would like to put in our club area. It is not a reality at this point in time. This is a matter of technical nature and thus belongs in the technical section where there is already a thread about power adders. (linked in my previous posts in this thread. There is also a section in the main area of the forums, namely HERE. I know the area has a lot of knowledgeable members there that there really isnt the need to have another section on the same site with information.
