Default 1-2 year old Powershift owners.

Hi everyone
With the auto Powershift being out for around 1-2 years I am keen to hear from owners with 2011/2012 models. I'd like to know how's its going and if you've had major problems? My fez has hit just on 2000 kays and everyday I worry its going to die because of this stigma that dsg trannies are terrible. Thanks!

Late 2010 model (ie one of the early ones), no issues apart from the odd "confusion" when accelerating after braking, such as going around a roundabout.

My sons Fiesta Zetec DCT has 21,000ks no issues with the transmission, He did have the rear seal on the engine replaced due to oil leaking at about 10,000ks though.

Update. Our June 2012 build Fiesta DCT is now over 9000kms and has developed a (clutch?)shudder in gear changes 2 to 3 or 3 to 4.
We will see how this developes and definitely look for a fix at the Ford 15000km service.

Hrmmmm not good..... I think my Fez is going to be a 4 year old car. Soon as warranty is out, will trade it. (I have bought an extra 2 years ontop of the standard 3)

There is a post in the Focus section with an add on Ford Service bulletin action plan for fixing this in both Focus and Fiesta DCT,s.
I am going to pop in and have a chat to the service people this week about it.
Hopefully (.............) its just a software adjustment.
I wonder if these autos and their issues is the reason Fiesta is not really selling to its potential in Oz.

I notice a strange noise and clicks right before a gear change, I particularly notice it when it's shifting down to a lower gear and when taking off. At high speeds I can't hear if its doing it as obviously the engine is revving higher therefore can't hear it. It's done this from day one of ownership. It's going in for its 3000k so I should mention it. But then again I read in the handbook that the clicks are normal and should fade after some time. Mine has made the same click gear change since day one and its now on 2300 kilometres. Do you guys still have click noises?
