G'day all, does anyone know of a bobtail lip type spoiler for the AU Lanes ?
There doesn't appear to be much available ? I came across a couple on EBay to suit BA BF, how much different are the boot lid sizes in relation to length etc ? I was thinking of making one but I don't know much about fibreglass. |

No native bobtail spoiler for the AU lane. SWB won't fit due to curvature, and B-series is a different shape again. Personaly I think they look much better nekkid, with the TL rear bar.
SWB needs a lip though, bum's too saggy otherwise

Yep. Never was much out there for us "old man's cars" in the way of body kits.
The only thing ive seen is a wing style spoiler for an au lane but it would look out of place on a lwb car. An affordable subtle lower body kit would be nice. Im looking at the universal silicon rubber lower lips for the front and especially to fill in the rear but not sure if it suits the car ( i already have s3 wagon side skirts). It might be a bit too ricey but will try it and see. |

Of course there are bobtail spoilers available for WH Statesman
The AU Lane must be the ugly duckling. That's good it suits me. |
