New 2014 STi images leaked prior to next weeks motor show in Detroit.
I think it is one of those designs that will grow on you in time. I'll be interested to see performance figures and weight when it comes out. http://smh.drive.com.au/motor-news/2...109-30in2.html |

IMO the least offensive Suby design for a long time. Reminds me of a little of the Liberty (back when they looked good)

To me it looks like an Evo with the lines and the headlights and a little bit of Ford in the grill. Should hammer the corners alright

Yeah the front end is very Evo 10 like. I do like the look of it, more so than the previous model anyway.

From side on, it's very much like the Evo X.
Some extra info here on it http://www.autoblog.com/2014/01/08/2...i-photos-leak/ Looks a bit boxy in the pics. Hopefully it will look better in the flesh.

Why do manufacturers continually keep up this "leaked one week before the motorshow reveal" saga.
The manufacturers are the ones "leaking" these images. Just don't see what they are trying to achieve by doing this. It's hardly a leak if the images are sent out by the manufacturer, even if they don't put their name on it. I think this is the 3rd car supposedly "leaked" before the Detroit show. The first thing I thought when I saw the shot from the side was isn't that an Evo? |

Wow I'm surprised how quickly suburu have swung back around to good looking cars. Ussually they suck for a whole generation.
Despite its first appearances looking a bit lancer like...I really like it at this stage....looks very mean |

More pics and a video (video is stupid though, either sped up or slowed down).

Still way overdone for mine. I like an understated but classy/aggressive look, these things are the opposite.
For mine the 99/00 WRX was still the best looking shape, even if it does look dated. The rest after were woeful, with the current model being passable. |
