Default Engine Build

Hey peoples,

Was wonderin what the general consensis was of my engin idea for my Sprint.

Like Holden, they have done the 355/383 to death, as for Ford, the 347 is a bit the same.
So i was thinkin of building a 6.0lt(363cui) or there abouts just for somethin diffrent. Obviously the driveline and what not would be upgraded to handle the extra hp and torque.

Thoughts and comments?????

Thanks
Chocko

Doing something different will probably end up costing more for about the same performance gain.

To go any higher than 347ci, you'll need a different block. World's new Man'O'War blocks can be bored/stroked to 370-odd ci using a 302 based block, or if you want to fit a 351W block, you can go to 418ci with a Dart or World block.

I don't really think the 347 has been 'done to death', its a very good combo, any bigger and you'll need an aftermarket block.
