Nah it works like a hiclone and creates suction in the exhaust pipe therefore giving you more power

What's next glow in the dark mag wheels

*snaps fingers and sits up in chair* You may be onto something there! maybe glow in the dark paint for the entire car? Here are some other f00lly h3kt!k ideas ive come up with for the good of mankind:

Spinner Mirrors
The side mirrors are mounted to the car by a rotating base, and fins are added to the top, backing, underside and across the mirror itself, so that when the car drives, the mirror spins, much like a paddle steamer. The Bling Spec (tm) Spinner Mirrors come with LED's lining the fins, for that fully sick whirling glow effect at night. You'll be the envy of your friends, and random strangers.

Hydraulic Imitation Wheels
Too cheap to purchase hydraulics for your pimpin ride? The world first patented Hydraulic Imitation Wheel and tyre package is comprised of chrome rims that feature large protrusions which jut out from the rim at equally spaced intervals, so that when that particular portion of the rim touches the road, it pushes the car up, mimicking the hydraulic effect. The tyres are also specially designed to stretch over these protrusions and sustain high levels of wear. The Bling Spec (tm) model comes equipped with plastic sticks which can be attached to the brake discs, so that when the car is in motion, they hit the wheel and sound like there is some serious equipment under that hood!

That takes me back to days as kids we used to put a piece of cardboard secured with a peg to the back tyre of our pushbikes to make a fake motor noise.
