depending on what performance and price u r looking at, a dev3a cam from JJM is a good choice.

If you dont want to deal with with Wade Cams directly, go see Johnny Dyno Engines in North Geelong. NC Steve and I got our cams through Johnny. Lots of advice for you as well. We payed around 120 - 130 for our grind. Gotta give them your old cam, otherwise its more $$$$$. Dont really know of any other places around Geelong.
Hehe. So much for a family car. LOL

just be carefull. Your car will be an EL update with they Hybrid engine. Normal EL cams dont work in these things, and AU cams don't either.
But on the extractor front, I have Pacemaker Competition series on my EL, well worth the money.

A normale EA to EL had i think a 1.8 to1 ratio roller rockers and the hybrid EL / AU has 2.0 to1 ( AT THIS I COULD BE VERY WRONG ) But as all heads are the same then why cant you just get a set of Roller Rockers from a ED/EL (1.8rr) and then use the WADE cam then ?? OR at the very least when its time to do a head gasket you could just get a top end from a earlyr model |

THe heads arnt the same... ive kinda had a go at swaping the rocker gear over as when i tried to use E series rockers on an AU head the dowls dont line up.. its kinda just all over the shop, you would need to make up a set using Au pedistals and E series rockers. (not sure if it would work)
IM sure wade do do cams for AU engines, as youre car is using an E series ECU it should cope with the same cam as any e series engine works with. I was running a WADE Au cam grind in my EB so they defently do them.. |
