hey guys i was woundering if it is possible to use a 3.9 mpi head on a 4l block? i had a bit of a search and apparently the AU head gasket is the best to use?
the reason for this is i have a ea on gas and it has done a bottom-end bearing and the gear box is a bit tired. but i have access to a inj 4L with good box.
any information will be muchley appreciated

yes you can put a 3.9 mpi head on a 4l block, it gives you better compression

I have an EF 4L block with an EA 3.9L head and Au head gasket all bolted together in the car just waiting to be started, so it is 100% possible
