The ones on the left are by Speedy called Cross-5;
http://www.speedywheels.com.au/offroad.htm They are designed for AWD/SUV/4WD's and as such have a high load rating. While that can be a good thing (Falcon's are no lightweight) it also makes the wheel heavy. Do you really want all that extra weight to accelerate and brake?

Um, just get the AU 2 XR Tickford 17's, they are the choiceist looking spokes on the E-Series.
Otherwise, style over substance, go the ones on the left, if they're too heavy, look for ones that look like that!

thanks mate i needed that, just spat about half a litre of water onto my screen.... how much are you paying for wheels and tyres, if you want good rims go down to wheel works on south road just before richmond road, its on your right hand side if your heading to noarlunga. thye have heaps of wheels there, only about a hand full to choose for e-series, but if you get AU offset adaptors/spacers you can have any rim in the store. talk to them before you buy either.... but if your heart is content on these then the left ones are alright. u can get some 18's with tyres for 1800-2300, so 17's shouldnt be more then 1400-1800.

Throw the one on the right in the rubbish, or towards a group of Jap import drivers.... they'll love it . (No offence intended to anyone!)

Sorry forgot to mention, the wheel tire packages (tires) I'm guessing are bottom shelf types, probably Sava, Wahnly etc. If you can, dig a bit deeper and get better rubber than the package deals. Otherwise the handling benefit to your ride will be marginal..... a set of GOOD rubber on 16's would stick better than Sava Entensa or the like on 17's. Just my opinion.
