Will a eb electronic ignition map sensor be the same as an original carbi fed map sensor?

All Map sensors are the same, MPI or CFI. When you DO replace it, make sure that the port into the manifold where the hose goes is free of carbon build-up. Just get a drill bit and stick it into the hole and make sure it is clear.
