Hey guys, i have just bought one of these, off ED XR6. Was just wondering how to get it off the boot lid, without doing damage to it.
Cheers. |

Try melting the glue with a hair dryer, works when removing badges

I've got one i'm putting on my EA... undid the bolts and it's glued to the boot also. My old boot has sunspot damage, so i just took the whole boot w/spoiler and repainting it.. somehow i don't reckon it'll come off that easily, didn't want to risk stuffing up the rubber so i left it on.
Anyone been able to get it off a boot sucessfully and still intact okay? |

they are double sided taped on, ive taken off about 5 or so of these and they can be a pain! paint scraper works well as well as a thin knife. just take it easy when doing it as you can crack the paint very easily. if its not original and someone has siliconed it on it will be a fair bit harder.
