CPi on a Falcon S? I thought the Mpi was a feature of them..
simple things like the filter, $12 works well, some injector cleaner, and some Nulon Carby/Throttle Body cleaner too, improved repsonse, about $11 from Supercheap. Seriously, check the air filter - mine had every bug in ACT in it! Extractors, we're looking at making group purchases from either Lukey or make Pacemaker for cheap prices, $215 +. You can use these no matter what your intake is. |

Moody, the best thing you can do is to find a buggered EA with MPI and take all of the gear off it and you will have LOADS of spares? A friend did that, got the car for $250.00 and got all he wanted. Try though to match the car to what you have. liek 4speed auto or 3 or Manual. So you can use the Electrics

GAs, no thx, wrkin for bp refinery gives 25% off fuel, 98 all the way. ive done plugs and filters allredy. lookin for a 3.9l eb2 xr6 to rip the comp and mpi off it, would it work? if not ill grab an old ea mpi. also, mine being a 5 speeder, does it matter using the mpi setup from an auto...what about the comp aswell..
if its worth it, ill run it on a auto comp untill i get the exhaust and headers done, then put in a good perf. chip?? any comments? Last edited by moody; 19-02-2006 at 09:11 PM. Reason: added question |

i'm thinking EB XR6's are 4.0L manifold might work anyway. There's dudes putting on EF manifolds here and there too. Just grab an EA MPI manifold & setup. It's worth -/+ 18kw anyway.

EA CPI... and you run it on 98RON... What compression do you have? If it's like 10:1 I can understand, but if it's 9:1 or lower, stick with 91RON. It won't ping, it won't drink any more, and you'll save $$$ per tankful. That is, $$$ on top of your 25% discount |

You need spacers to run BA XR8 rims.
Spacers are illegal, and insurance companies dont like them at all. I bought aftermarket BA XR8 style wheels with the E-series offset. $1200 with tyres, and geniune ford centre caps, wheel nuts and lock nuts. They are a lot cheaper now though. Look in the trading post.
