It was interesting last night in ballarat I hope this guy is on here
I seen a EL or EF falcon in the servo in ballarat filling up with gas he had tickford badges everywhere on it, I investigated it a bit more, cars pritty stock and I mean Auto, Standard Dash, some 16"s and these tickford badges Iv seen it around town in ballarat before and its quite slow other than the fact of the amounts of coupius abuse i was receiving for driving an EA and not attempting to do a skid in the middle of a blitz he seemed quite ИИИИed off when i said, take ur tickford fake peice of ИИИИ home why do people put badges like that on their stock cars? |

dont see anything wrong with fakers... lol dont get so bothered about it
if you dont like it, keep it to yourself. no need to insult the guy for it by the way, my car's an LTD faker (badges, grille, leather interior), some people have a sook about it but meh.... i dont care.. |

I'm not into badges etc but some people are, which is their choice. Tickford isn't something divine and exclusive as people seem to think - it will go down in history as Ford's failed attempt # 23726 at beating HSV. Besides, one could argue that any mod to any car is 'faking' being something newer/better etc.
I don't see anything to get worked up about here, let alone abusing a total stranger. |

it's got a rx donk and wating on some other bit's to come i say why not it's you'r car] but i hate seeing somthing that just has a badge and nothing else to back it up but i dont abuse i laugh :P p.s my ED GHIA's a mock skyline  : lol!!

I saw XLS ute on the way to Sydney with Tickford badges over it. It's their car. A badge is a badge. It doesn't do anything. So I don't care when I see stripes on non gt's or badges on non fpv's or tickfords.

dammit my AU2 rims on my EF are COPIES and they have TICKFORD wings on them....
I guess im goin straight to hell :( my EF also has an EL GT rear wing.... and a tickford lower body kit.... |

What I mean is people who put the stuff on and think its that type of car, its like the tickford badges give it 30or so more kw, 10 for each one
Also why do people put the badges on and bullИИИИ its tickford, fair enough if he droped a tickford donk in it, but yeah. Its like getting ur stock GL S1 EA putting a XR front end on out of an EB saying its a EA XR6... Fair enough, people who do the XR front end conversions ect, I have snow flakes on my Fairmont Ghia but its not a Spak. The car is green in question, mine is silver slate which is more of a goldish colour |

I got no problem with people doing at the car as a fake/replica not my thing but each to there own.

Ive been linking pics way to much lately..but anyhow.
Case 1: EA Fairmont Ghia, was my first car, was awesome until i killed the K-frame and the HG went. Oh it was on gas too! (ill resize that hang on)  Case 2: My current car. A EA fairmont with a few extras.  Why did I buy them..simple...at the time genuine XR's were alot more expensive (add insurance to that too). And from what I can gather they really are not that much quicker than my current faker (stock). I dont race, its just a daily. Being at uni I had other expenses that needed preference. So whoever put all the bits on spent a crap load of cash, I come along and buy a some what of a bargin Speaking of which the green one is for sale still...$2500 absolutely firm if anyone wants it..I should update that thread... So :jab: :thebirds: to the people that bag fakers...not everything is as it seems  :
