You need spacers to fit AU rims onto an E-series, spacers are around the $250 mark last time I priced them; my AU rims onto my sisters EF.
Spacers are illegal as the rim sits on the studs, not the hub itself... people still do it though. The off-set is different. (the reason for spacers)
18's on an EA, may need the guards rolled?
Not sure of any other clearance issues.

Sure is, i have them on my ED.
I had to find some that had been made with the e-series offset.
If you want to buy them new there is an eBay store called Wheels-Direct that sell them. But for a set of rims (no tyres) it will set you back $800 i think.
I was lucky enough to get mine second hand and in good knick.
Still pricey though. But hey, they look good.

for the love of god and the safety of anyone in your car dont use spacers. $250 will get you a quality set of hub adapters. the adapters sit on the wheel hub, not the studs and the rims sit on the adapters hub. still not legal but 100x safer.

To get the pre-au offset is only an extra $100 from wheels direct.
That way you won't get bent over by the cops.

the wheels i have are from a mate who has a wrecked an au, so they wont have the pre-au offset, however these hub adapters sound good, are they not as safe because the amount of wheel over the hub is smaller?

cheers Dan

a good quality hub adapter is just as safe as putting a normal wheel on. they make sure all the weight is on the hub and none on the studs. just be careful waht you get as a mate has a set on his ea and the studs have started to bend like cheese. its only becuase they are some asian knockoff and metal quality in the studs wasnt awesome.

i'd almost go as far as saying, buy a set, get new arp studs or something with a reputation from repco and get those pressed in.
