At the moment we have 1 non ford in the garage and thats a 05 Corolla Sportivo the one with the 147kw celica motor in it. Not bad for what it is and it screams. Replacement for that is likely to be a Mazda 3 MPS/SP23 or whatever they call it.

Amuses me all the time how people think they have something to prove by blowing away an underpowered 50kw crudbox Not like its a GTi or has anything amazing under the bonnet... Quote:

The only thing we can all go out in (there is 7 of us) Most of the time we just go out in 2 cars as invariably at least on of the kids will have to go somewhere on the way to or from where ever we are going.

BMW 750iL in Diamond Black - the top of the range V12 LWB limo. The Ultimate Driving Machine and Pure Driving Pleasure are their trademarks and I've driven LOTS of different cars, couldn't go past this big black beauty as much to my surprise their clichés ring true. Show me any other factory car that can reach 250km/h in third gear, or do it with such an awe of safety, comfort, and effortless cruisiness.
My first car - I just never got around to selling - a CM Chrysler Regal about to undergo a full restoration in accordance to my sentimental connection to it. I kinda feel I "owe" it a restoration after neglecting her all these years. She's a very rare Torque-Flite equiped 265 ELB with a/c and all the trimmings of the Regal (not a leather/electric Regal SE though). She's a metallic Blue Frost with pale blue and mauve velour. Worst car I ever owned: 1983 Chev Camaro Z-28 T-top. Sure with my "P"-plates it got the looks, but the twisting and warping of the chassis popping the targa's out of place through spoon drains was the LEAST of its problems. Good riddens to that 18 months of physical anguish! |
