Default Price on EF Wagon?

Hey,

My brother is getting prepared to sell his EF station wagon. He now has a BA station wagon as a company car, hence the EF is of no use to him.

I was just wondering what price you think it could realistically sell for. Here are the specs:
Pretty sure it's a Series I, 260,000kms, BTR auto, unleaded, dynamic white :sm_headba, alarm/immobiliser, exhaust was replaced recently, minor engine recondition was done a few months ago, all the rest is stock. It's serviced regularly and the body is tight and straight. Oh, and it certainly smokes my ED off the line :( And the bloody thing is stock grrrrrrr! If only I could get it off him for 500 bucks I'd chuck the engine in mine LOL!

Cheers

PS: Let's not mention Redbook etc.

I'm guessing around 5-6k, kilometres count against it, but it is a wagon, and the engine has be re-coed.

As others have said, between $4k and $6k would be about right depending on its condition and options etc. If he wants to sell it quick, then maybe a bit less than said price... its a buyers market out their afterall.

As a wagon owner I am sad to say the guys are on the mark at $5k.

My Fairmont AU wagon's not worth much more than $10k and thats after paying $38k new!!!

How does it make you feel? Well I am a ford fan but the lousy resale is more than disappointing.
