Just got some sad news in, Mark was invovled in an accident causing extenisve damage to my old EA (His new EA), marks pritty shaken up about this, so lets give him our support

he was, i was getting a ride with him, after i noticed it was getting a little late, mark gave me a call and told me about the accident

here are the pics, i had a look and the chassis rail is pushed in at the front about 3 inches, so it will be a write off IMO.

i was able to fix mine... i had simular damage when the past owner ran up the back of a truck.... i had to replace the k frame, all suspension arms, the main arm that the hub bolts to and the balljoints live in, both engine mounts, battery, all front panels... but my radiator was fine tho

gimme a sec and ill find the pics on my computer

Yeah it is similar but i still think mines worse and I dont know if it is worth fixing it coz it was only my workhorse and i still have the DF LTD to drive until i get another car. I will most likely be selling off parts from it but im gonna wait till insurance do their bit. But i know people are gonna be interested in parts from it especially the T5 and ED 323 LSD cop diff with 100k only. I will keep u guys posted. Cheers guys and thankyou for all your support. Its most apreciated

89 s-pak, yes that looks like similar damage but no its not as bad.marks chassis rail is pushed back and bent roughly 3 inches, its hard to tell from the photo but u can compare it to the other side.

that ball joint looks like the rubber was old and split which means no grease ,one reason to always make sure your car is serviced,hope you get another car on the road soon,
very lucky you were not doing 100 plus Kmh when it happened.
