They look like American Racing wheels - used to see them on Comaro's and Mustangs in the 70's. Some made it here on Holden & Falcons.
Have a look on the back and see if there are any markings on them.
They're not dragways - dragways use a steel rim - they seem to be 1 peice cast alloy

globes had flatter spokes didnt they??? and if they were old monaro wheels they wouldnt fit on a xt cause the stud pattern would be different

Another giveaway that they are AR wheels is the slotted holes making them multi fit.
I have a set of Camaro/Early Holden ones at my Wrecking Yard

i reckon that they have come off a xb or xc fairmont or GS because they were an option. They look exactly like the ones that cameon them anyways.

"XY / XA / XB Sports Road Wheel Option" 14' x 6" Steel Rim with a Cast Alloy Centre.
They were originally unpainted, someone has painted the Centre Black.

I think they are an old set of Tasmans. They are as rare as rocking horse shite. Give either Gary Coleman or John Reid at the Tonka shop a call and see if they want to buy. Definate dollars sitting there champ.

I think from memory they are XA "option no 52" factory rims, originally the spokes were a greyish colour.

Correct, they were unpainted. Option on XY thought to XB.

They are cheviot hustlers which were a replica of the sports option wheels. Tasman also made some very similar copies. Hustlers were always painted black on the spokes.

Cheviot wheels you will find are all alloy unlike the original ford optional wheels.

The other thing to check is whether they are small or large bore.

Cheviot Hustlers for sure!... Had em (13" x 6") on an EH years ago.
Smincer... These are ONE piece cast ally.. The 2 piece your thinking were early Dragways that had a steel rim with pressed in ally centre (very similar spoke design)
