OK, well yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Matt (aka EA Turbo Ghia) and his mate to pick up/install some AU Thermos into my car. Over time Ive seen people say how AU's dont fit, well they do.
I am next to hopeless with electronics, and Matt did an awesome job of installing them for me Hope the Walker went down well: So here are some pics. There is a pic of where the relays are sitting (infront of the battery); and might I say god bless the guy who invented cable ties! I think the reason why people say AU's dont fit is because of where the fan used to fit on the pump; but once this is ground off there is atleast 10mm clearence. While there has been no difference in how the car drives, it sure is a bit quieter. One thing I am having to get used to is how the temperature fluctuates a bit. With the old fan it barely ever went passed dead center in normal. Now it goes a bit further, but once they kick in the temp comes straight down. So thanks Matt! Couldn't have done it without ya. :sm_headba I tried to do the [IMG][/IMG] thing but it didn't work, sorry

No air intake snorkel either??
None on mine. Seems to be plenty of cold air coming from the fans (excluding the last 48 hours)

I took the snorkel of because I was taking the pic..lol..got a XH one.
Temp switch?...dont think it is adjustable, its got the thingy (thermostat I guess), that goes into the housing, but how the heck do you adjust that? It works well now, would be good if i came on a fraction earlier though.

AU thermos have been covered many times and it has also been proven before that they fit. Bozza bought a set off me a while ago and did it.
Good work. Sundeep |
