Angry Another crashed e-series

But don't worry, its not that bad.

Pulling into the shopping centre at indro shopping centre, I notice they've locked the gates. Before pulling back onto the road, I do a shoulder check, and rear view mirror. Then I hear the screeching tires. Some f&*ktard in a what appears to be stolen jeep came onto the road from a sidestreet sideways, lost it, come around 180 backwards into my baby.

I was thinking oh sh*t, I'm going to have to deal with a drunk driver or something. But he just sped off, leaving a messed up bumper bar. Thankfully somehow the first thing in my mind was number plate. I wrote down what I thought it was immediately, and called the olds to ask for what to do. At this point I was shaking too much to get out and check the damage. I eventually emergerd to what would be just a new bumper. Just as I was dialing 000, a cop car pulled up investigating kids throwing crap off the top of the shopping centre.

Unfortunately the numberplate I gave them was incorrect, but my luck turned. The twit did a 360 infront of a security gaurd by the indro bridge, who radiod it in. The car perfectly matched my description, and the numberplate was only 1 letter, and 1 number off. The cops stayed around for a while and let me listen in to the reports of this guy causing havic in the area, then they got a call of him nearby, so they took off.

I'm fine but rather ****ed off as you could imagine. So if you see a black jeep tonight driving like a tool, keep out of the way, or throw a baseball bat at the driver.

Keep safe.

what is it these days? he'd have to be drunk or driving a stolen car for sure. at least you have a police report which could help you out when they catch him. hopefully the cost doesnt fall onto your pocket.

Sounds like they'll get the ****er, and so you won't have to pay the damamge bill!

This week has been dark times for the e-series :( Mines gonna be off the street for another month or so until I have enough cash to upgrade the diff and a replacement rear axle.

Goodluck with the repairs, and rest easy - it wasn't your fault ;)

Well had a better look at the damage just before. The driver's side bumper bar brace that connects to the chasis is bent at about a 35deg angle, so its dropped down about half an inch on the drivers side. I noticed a bit of panel damage on the rear quarter, but looks old, as I resprayed it about 12 months ago and the paint is mint on it.

The cops said they'd give me a ring tuesday to let me know what happened.

I'll try to get some pics up tonight.

So now the hunt begins for a new bumper.
