Hey people need some help.
I have so far undone the 6 bolts holding the fuel rail on to the manifold and the bolt for the fuel reg, undone and removed the fuel line and return fuel line, unclipped all the wiring to the injectors, its all loose but dont wanna come out. I even removed all the little clips on the injectors in the hope the fuel rail would at least come off and the injectors stay there, but no good either. So before I break something what have I missed or am doing wrong. Jason :

Could it possibly be held in by the o-rings, which may be giving a little bit of resistance?

Have you ever had it off the car before? The o-rings would deteriorate over time.
There are only the 7 bolts holding it on, however what about your engine dipstick? Did you move that out of the way? It's held on by the centre bolt on the outside of the rail, that can get in the way sometimes. I'd suggest spraying the ends of the injectors with wd-40, and letting it soak for a couple of minutes, and try again. It will 'pop' out, the o-rings are generally very tight. All else fails, try levering it out with a big screwdriver. The o-rings should give way before the injectors do. |

There's a bolt at the back of the rail under the regulator. That wouldn't make a diff though you should be able to get it clear without undoing it.
Did u de-pressurise stylez? Sometimes they can be hard to get off when there's pressure. Sundeep |
