Default EF/EF same stud pattern offset to EA/B/D?

I'm selling a set of AWA 18" inch rims with tyres on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....MESE%3AIT&rd=1
they fit on my EF but the front needs spacers and my mate reckons they just fir on his EL no worries...so i dunno what's going on...are the studs offsets the same or what?

Stud pattern for EA,B,D,F & L are exactly the same
