Hey guys/gals.
I want to look at bringing my car up here to Brisbane and am thinking about etiher freighting it up, and or doing a road trip with it, does anyone have any idea about the costs/risks involved in throwing it on a truck and getting it here, I personally think a road trip will be much better, but just working out the alternatives. Thanks in Advance.

Why wouldn't you drive it. Reliability issues, comfort??? Generally its a reasonable road. Traffic will give ya the anal passage squeegee's but its probably less risky than trusting your car to a trucking company.

Working in Brisbane and only having a couple of days to myself its bit of a deal to Fly Home Friday night and turn around and Drive back to Brisbane on the Saturday morning, OH and LOL @ reliability issues, its done the trip a few times before, its more a if its only going to cost me 500 bucks or so to throw it on a truck then its easier and more convieniant to get it here that way, without having to waste a whole weekend driving it up, and jut FYI I love the Newell highway....and cunninghams Gap.
As for the comfort factor, its a M6 SS with Leather and Roof so I dont think the comfort factor even crossed my mind, last trip we did in about 21 hours straight and I didnt get out of the drivers seat!!!!

i have thrown a car on car carrier before, had no problems although the trip wasnt as long as what you want to do. just ring some carriers and see what they say. the company i used even delivered my car to my door on a smaller truck, much easier then picking up ypur car from there depot

LOL Dan I have always missed the SS, its just now its time to ensure I have something to drive up here, for when I want to go and do stuff, without having to hire a car.
There is so much more to explore up here. And so much I havent done yet, its time to get seriously BUSY!!!!

Try QR Link. They are a rail company who you can witness the car getting on the train, and you witness it get off. Not to expensive either I believe.

You could talk to Whoosha. I think he works for toll transport shipping cars.
