Default Series 2 Heater controls and surround

Hey guys,

Just a quick question. I have a Series 1 XR and was wanting to know is there any difference between the looms on the S1 and S2 heater controls, and if there is, is it easy or possible to modfiy the loom to fit the S2 controls. IMHO the S2 looks better, just thought I'd ask before I go ripping things apart. Thanks in advance.

Probably not. I take my own car to everything. Were you at Bayswater Anaconda? Cause I remember seeing a Red AU XR there. I parked opposite it.

Back on topic - the only person I know who has tried this is Falkeen. Might be worth a PM to him to ask what can and can't be done (and if he responds, please post his reponse up here). He is the man that grafted a T3 lower front bar to an XR upper front to create the XR50 bar, but the heater controls in his AU1 futura stayed as AU1 controls, so I'm guessing it can't be done.
