A big congrats to Cam (gtp200) l have just seen a huge write up in todays Herald Sun (Saturday) page 117 titled Ford better or worse. lt reviews "The Chase ls On" and his new films.
Looks like they are doing a cinema screening in Melbourne and Sydney www.gtmovie.com for tickets. Good to see one of our fellow forum members hitting it big time. lf someone has a scanner maybe upload the article to the thread... Cheers Chris

Hopefully Cam does well in the New York awards today. One bit of advice for Cam it would be better to move house than make a film with Holdens as heros.

Cameron's a really switched on guy. Met him at herrod's during FPV weekend and he showed my friend from Falcon car club SA and I some very interesting things on the PC regarding his next films in herrod's upstairs office
No doubt that his next films will be alot better than the first For a first film it's not too bad.

Congratulations Cameron on a great result. Now those New Yorkers will know what an XY GT looks like. I wonder if Tom Gorman has had any orders for left hand drive GTP’s. : Cheers, Danny

You should have seen the guys faces when I told them to indicate when turning the corner. It costs around $23,000 to close off a back road for a few hours. . . . . we didnt have that kind of cash. (well not until scene 48, which at that point, we had the briefcase full of 100s). On another note we are having a cinema screening on: MELBOURNE 4th June 2005 SYDNEY 17th June 2005 We are screening our new flic "RUSH & The Chase is On Directors Cut" more info click on : http://www.gtmovie.com/cinema_rush.htm Cam Last edited by GTP 200; 09-05-2005 at 01:18 AM. |

ive got the chase is on, so ill prolly get the next 1 too...
but you mention the $23k cost to close off a road, to eliminate indicating....wouldnt it be cheaper to cop a fine for not indicating (if you were that unlucky) and just not indicate ? : |

I've found a few up around christmas hills (one in particular) that was so freaking good I nearly used an entire tank of fuel going backwards and forward along it.
Drop me a PM and I'll give you a guided tour one day if your keen P.s. The Dandenongs can't hold a candle to the roads I'm talking about! |

GTP 200 - I know you were trying to auction the car off a while a go on eBay. What happened? People seeing you cruising in it sounds like you still have it - did you keep it?

Sweet. That's great to hear. From stuff he has said about it in other threads etc. how much he loves it and the best car he's had etc. I thought it'd be a real shame to sell it. Esp. being the car 'star' of his first movie etc. too. Anyway, keeping it and doing it up is the way to go. Hope he has no probs getting the money needed for the new movie also. Sounds like TC Films is doing alright though - hope it only keeps getting better too.
