I've been looking for an xr8 ute for a while now and if the right one comes up, at the end of the day i won't care if it's auto or manual. I believe a nice one with low km's is so hard to come by that you will be waiting even longer if transmission is a thought. but yes i agree manuals are more fun to drive, but if your modding go the auto. Good luck with your searching.
