You know your a forum junkie when people get reffered to me! lol

From what I've checked theres no signal wire for amps or electric antennas, nor are there RCA pre-outs.

Most people who have wired in amps with the stock unit have done so from tapping into the Accessory power cable going into the head unit. 0v when the car is off, 12v when key is turned to acc. Perfect

With getting a audio signal, either choose an amp with a high level input and feed the audio lines from the rear speakers into the amp, or if your amp only has RCA in's, get a high to low level line converter, tap into the speaker cable, then from the converter run RCAs to your amp.

Thanks fellas for your help highly appreciated . I've purchased a BLAUPUNKT active bass reflex subwoofer which fits under either of the front seats, the instructions state that you can either use rca inputs or just tap into a left and right speaker wire, what had me shot was the control (signal) cable but now l understand what you mean run power lead from battery and signal cable to accesories on ignition.(got it)
