After several attempts with different substances I have found a cure for my rattly/sqeaking dash panels!!!! Purchase a can of Powerplus spray grease (with a thin pipe nozzle)now, when the air and dash plastic is cool,press panels to find offending ones...take two absorbent cotton rags ( one is to place under the area being sprayed to catch any surplus..the other is to wipe the sprayed area). Now shake the can until your arms ache ( a lot of ****ers will not suffer!) and spray around the panel in short squirts whist pushing the panel in...give the grease time to set then test panel..repeat if necessary...this stuff will not harm the plastic but keep away from switches and buttons.......please report back with results....Dave Wa.EF Fairmont in heritage green.....

Does sound interesting... but if the rattle is caused by plastic parts rubbing, they would eventually wear through the film of this spray.

thats a fair idea, would like to know how long it lasts or if rattle ever returns.
im getting a bit of rattle coming through my dash lately, probably cos so much bass gets pumped into the car :P

Good comment Jack...it leaves a film of solid grease after the evaportion process...should last yonks going by wheel bearings and greased steering joints....we shall see.. if it lasts more than two months will do it again!
