Agreed, a top effort on the part of the owner but for that sort of money it would want to be more than a high 15/low 16 second car...

it does have an engineered V8 conversion, custom interior and the kit......

17's a little much though....he'd probly get about 10...ish

chances are he doesnt wanna sell it but wifey told him to. so he put a huge price on it so it will never sell - least its advertised he'd tell her

Looks great. Looks like it has a twin system too unless its a dummy outlet. EL skirts look a little weird too.

Its a really nice custom wagon all right. Very well done and all but 1988 and 10,000k since rebuild well its getting pretty old for $17k. I mean its not a classic or a special model like maybe an XR6 wagon will be one day. It's just a nicely modified EB. Worth as much as someone wants to pay for it.

Modified and custom cars never return the money you spend on them as the market for cars of this type is small so if you have to sell it will be cheap and anyone who can do it themselves would probably rather do it themselves.

No they're EL XR skirts. Although they do closely resemble those off an AU. Check this: http://www.ssv.com.au/images/EL0602.JPG
