Took my car for a normal wheel alignment/balance and tyre rotation.
When I picked up the car the steering wheel was of center. Took back the next day to fix the problem when I was driving home the steering wheel is still of center. I am taking it back again what could be the problem or what did they do wrong as it was never like that before. The steering wheel has always been centered |

sounds as though, you're ball joint could be warn out? ... happened to mine

They have adjusted your tie rod ends to set toe-in or -out, but not bothered to centre your rack. They need to let one tie rod end out and take the other in by the same amount so as to maintain correct toe while centring the rack. If they can't do something this basic correctly, don't give them any more work.

thats my key issue with getting bob jane to do it, they just dont care,
i normally get a typrepower to do it as they are an indepentned just under a buying group and do what u ask

I don't think I've had a decent alignment from any of the big chains EVER! Last decent alignment I had was from some little independent place 10 years ago!

They have done the alignment wrong mate.if they cant get it right in 2 goes then take it elsewhere for safety sake.Btw will talk soon.

Took car back today the the adjustment on the lhs rear came loose or they forgot to tighten it.lhs rear tyre was crooked and scrapping on the road.They fix it all up now and everything is sweet.
