Mine has a blank plate there. Would imagine it would be occupied by a light in fairmonts etc.

Rear footwell light for fairmont/ghia/fairlane/LTD.

I have fitted one to my S-Pack, the lense was about $10 from ford, then a globe & holder. All you need to do is wire it to the interior light circuit.

I hate how the fabric on AU seats does that at the back down the bottom. Its so cheap and i can't believe they all do it..

Yeah the black interior rocks, makes the window tinting appear a little darker than it actually is too

I wouldn't mind adding the light there in my Forte.

Is the spot where the lower courtesy lights are located in Ghias and Fairlanes. Can be added to any model, you can buy the clear lens to replace the blanking bit from Ford, its the same part from EF-AU3 (can use it in any model). Get yourself the lens, a bulb holder, and you can wire it into the courtesy lights - there's one on the steering column above the ignition barrel.
