Default My respray pics

Just got my car back today and I am pretty happy with the results. It was getting really dull and has been in some major need of attention for a long time now.

Anyway, here are some before and after pics...

I had the bonnet, roof, boot, and read 1/4 panels sprayed and the nasty little dent taken out. I was lucky that the rest of the paint was good and didnt need to be touched.

Thanks guys

Probably shouldn’t say how much I paid because I did a bit of a deal with the guys that work there.

Most of the damage was a result of a previous paint job (prob by car yard) using cheap top coat that turns to crap in the sun. It is now done in baked 2-pac with decent materials This finish should last. The front bumper still has a few chips in it but I didn’t get that sprayed because there was also a crack in it. Once that is fixed ill get that done as well.

Ill try to get a few full car pics over the weekend. Unbelievably the thermostat gasket decided to start leaking on the way home from the shop so the car has been stuck in the driveway all day.

Allan Buckham from All Type Crash & Hi-Tech Paint Refinishers (Main North Road Parafield for the Adelaide boys). They gave me a tour of there workshop and it is a very nice setup. They also did me a big favour and squeeze my car in the day after I got the quote which no doubt cost them some overtime.

Looks very nice mate, very pleasing results you have obtained, especially if you struck a cheaper deal.
